This is my last blog post! This class was such a fun experience and I have learned a ton during this entire trimester. When I first walked into class I barely knew anything about photography except the basics of ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. I also had some background in Photoshop so I was more familiar with that program. I did not know anything about cameras. I had no idea how to take a higher quality photo without just taking one on my phone. So it took a little to remember which setting to use in different lighting because I was just so used to my phone doing it for me!
Since the trimester is coming to an end, looking back on everything I have learned or have done in this class was overall super fun. I would say one of the hardest things for me in this class was taking my weekly photo shoots. I always did them just some weekends they would not be my full potential of what I know I could do. I have learned deeper into shutter, aperture, and ISO, along with lots of Photoshop skills and shortcuts. I plan to continue using these skills that I have learned and caught onto from this trimester. I believe I have improved as a photographer and thought this class was very helpful and useful.

Today, we went outside during class to shoot motion pictures. We had to follow Mr. Bush at the same speed as he was riding his bike. My picture did not turn out as well as I hoped it would be but this was the best exposed picture. The background is not that blurry but it will do.
This was my last photo assignment. So I picked food because my mom was going to Busch's so I decided to go with her so I could take some pictures of the produce. i wish the front leaf was in focus a tiny bit more though. Editing: boosted the vibrance and temperature, then darkened shadows.
This assignment was really fun to do because it different than all of the other photoshop assignments. The first picture is the window light where we found a black wall for the back round, then had the window off to the side as well as having the white piece of paper to reflect the light onto the other side of the face where shadows might appear.
For this photo assignment I picked shadows and light because I walked into my kitchen and saw a nice shadow from the chair and the light in my kitchen. Then this lead to me putting a green/teal colored light inside of a container with holes. Then I turned off the ceiling lights therefore it created the dots on the wall as well as the chair. Editing: I made the green a little more vibrant. Then darkened the shadows.
This assignment was super fun being able to learn how to take 3 pictures and blend them all together into one using photoshops "photomerge". I did two of these in the school and the other three at millpond park. My panoramics are not uploading correctly.
For this assignment I took a picture of the pool and then photoshopped Finding Nemo characters into the pool. I turned the opacity down on Nemo, Dory, and the shark to make it look as if they were actually under water.
I chose macro this week because it seemed like a fun topic to take pictures of. My best photo I did not take this week, I took it in florida towards the very beginning of the trimester. I just thought it fit the topic nicely. Editing: I added some contrast, boosted the clarity up a tiny bit to make the rain drops more clear.
This assignment I decided to go for black and white because I had some pictures from past shoots that I personally thought would look good in black and white. This picture had good contrast and making it black and white made the contrast pop more. I enhanced the photo by making the picture a darker tone of black and white while making the light at the top a little lighter to add contrast.
For this third Photo assignment I chose architecture because it was a super nice day outside but a little cold out there. I went to downtown Ann Arbor because I am always amazed on how cool the detailing on each and every single one of the buildings, especially in the picture down below. I loved the arch along with the tiny detailing that really added to the photo. Editing: I bumped up the temperature along with the contrast. I did tilt the picture because it was a little crooked. I added more clarity to the photo to define the small details as well as brightening the shadows underneath, then darkening the highlights towards the top.
